These olive wood decorations are hand carved by local craftsmen in Bethlehem, and represent the 'Sumud' of the Palestinians through the symbol of the olive tree, which has long stood as a beacon of Palestinian resistance, hope and perseverance. The tatreez hand-embroidered pouches have been woven by Palestinian women whose work keeps their culture alive.Through buying these ornaments, we are supporting the survival, culture and livelihood of the Palestinian artisans.
